Claudia and Steve Rosen are co-founders and directors of Connections Health, a collaborative counseling practice in Evanston providing a personalized and supportive approach for therapy, along with offering tailored groups, workshops, consultation, and outreach, to meet the needs of students. Under the auspices
of the Office of Student Life at Kellogg, Claudia and Steve developed and have led the Kellogg Support Groups since 2018, in addition to workshops for the Kellogg community on recruiting, resilience, peer support for students in need, understanding the change process in therapy, and other topics.

Claudia has dedicated her life’s work to understanding and meeting the needs of young adults and is passionate about the potential in therapy for growth, self-discovery and building confidence. Claudia began working with students early in her career as a staff therapist and resource leader at Northwestern University’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) which gave her a strong foundation in understanding and working collaboratively with a wide range of people and resources to support students. Claudia has an MSW from Smith College School for Social Work and a BA from Brown University.

Steve became a therapist as a second career but a first passion, going back to earlier life experiences working with young adults in therapeutic camps, after school enrichment programs, boarding schools, and as a mentor. He draws from his broad-based education and experience in offering a positive, strength-building, goal-oriented, and solution-focused approach. Steve completed his Master’s degree at University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice and has an MBA from Kellogg and a BA from Brown University.
